ICETTE TRYOUTS   2007-2008

Icette Tryouts are open to girls currently enrolled in high school and who are in levels FS 5 or higher.  All participants must be registered for both the Fall and Winter sessions of the 2006-2007 season. 

Skills that are judged during tryouts:

* Spirals

* Freestyle Skills

          * Axel

          * Split Jump

          * Flying Camel or Combination Spin

                           * Comination Spin: A minimum of three positions and a change of foot.

* Straight line and circular combinations

* There will be a mandatory clinic prior to tryouts at which a one-minute dance will be learned.  This dance will be performed and judged at the tryout.

* A 30-second dance will be taught at the tryout which the girls will perform and be scored on.

* There will be a separate tryout for Jr. Icettes and Icettes.

Icette Clinic  -  Thursday, December 6, 2007 - 8:00-9:30pm

Icette Tryouts  -  December 8, 2007 - Approx. 4pm

Results - Monday, December 10, 2007 - 5:00pm
