A letter to all teams and players: 

It has come to my attention that there has been a lot of drinking of alcoholic beverages in the locker rooms after the games at night. This behavior is strictly against The Northbrook Park District’s policies, as well as a violation of Village ordinances involving the drinking of alcoholic beverages in public buildings. Neither myself nor the Park District will tolerate this behavior any further.  If you are one who is partaking in this behavior; stop now. 

I am further disturbed by reports from my staff that I in some way I have approved the drinking of alcohol in the building or at the Winnetka Facility. Let me assure all of you that I have never had a conversation with any team or player on this subject.  If I had the answer would have been not to do it.  My staff is very loyal and hard working.  Most of them, if not; all of them work here part time.  They all have day time jobs or attend college during the day.  The hour is late enough when your games are finished.  I ask that after the games you take your showers, get dressed and vacate the building in a timely manner.  There is no reason to keep my staff here any longer then absolutely necessary.

I am asking everyone’s voluntary cooperation in eliminating this problem.  However if this behavior does not stop I will have no choice but to ask those offending players and teams to leave our league.  Our rules state that if a team or player is ejected from our league due to disciplinary reasons that there will be no refund due. This would be the case in this case.
